Mimic Party on Android
The official app, and the only one.
Mimic Party is a 1 to 5 player online voice party game. The Android version is published by FoliesAPP, the studio that makes the game, and it is distributed on Google Play and nowhere else. If you found it somewhere else, you did not find Mimic Party.

The package name is the part that cannot be faked. Two apps can share a title, an icon and a set of screenshots; no two apps can share a package name on Google Play. Paste it into the store search bar and you land on the real listing, whatever the fake is calling itself today.
How to tell a fake from the real thing
Copies of Mimic Party are already circulating: re-uploaded APKs, clones using our key art under another developer name, sites promising an "unlocked" version. Four checks, from the most telling to the least.
- 1
Read the developer name, not the app name
It must say FoliesAPP, and tapping it must open our developer page with our other games on it. A clone can copy our title and our icon in an afternoon; it cannot publish from our developer account.
- 2
Read the package name in the URL
A genuine listing carries id=com.foliesapp.mimicparty in its address. Anything else — a different suffix, an extra word, a capital letter — is a different app by a different person.
- 3
Refuse every APK that is not from Google Play
We have never published an APK, a mod, a "premium unlocked" build or a beta outside Google Play, and we never will. A side-loaded APK bypasses Play Protect, and a repackaged game is the easiest way to ship something else alongside it.
- 4
No giveaway, no key, no account to hand over
Mimic Party is free to download. Nobody from the studio will ever ask for your Google account, your password, a payment to unlock the game, or a code sent by message. The only money in the game goes through Google Play billing.

What you are actually downloading
A round plays one reference sound to the whole table at the same moment: an animal, a machine, a voice, a noise nobody can name. Everybody records at once on the same countdown, one single take and no retry, then the recordings play back one by one while the room reacts.
Each take is compared to the reference on melody, rhythm and attacks — never on timbre, so a deep voice and a high voice doing the same curve score the same. Then the wheel hands out points, multipliers and sabotages, and a sabotage is aimed: the victim only finds out when their own take comes back saturated, chopped up, or replaced by a fart.
The full game page walks through a round step by step, with the scoring, the wheel and the sound packs.
What you need
A phone and a microphone
The whole game is played with your voice, so the app needs microphone access. Nothing is recorded outside a round, and a take exists only for the players at your table.
Headphones, strongly recommended
On speaker, the reference sound leaks back into your own take and the score suffers for it. Any wired or Bluetooth headset fixes that.
An internet connection
Games are online, one to five players in the same session, about ten minutes a game.
Android and PC, same game
The Android version is the same Mimic Party as the Steam one, not a cut-down spin-off: same rounds, same scoring, same wheel. Phone players and PC players sit at the same table, and linking your phone to your PC account is a QR code scanned in game.
The two stores price it differently, and that is the one real difference. On Android the game is free to download, with in-app purchases; on Steam it is a one-off paid game. Owning it on PC also changes what your phone account can do.

Questions about the Android version
Is Mimic Party available on Android? +
Yes. Mimic Party is available on Android on Google Play, published by FoliesAPP under the package name com.foliesapp.mimicparty. It is free to download, with optional in-app purchases.
Which Mimic Party app is the official one? +
The only official Android app is the one published by the developer FoliesAPP with the package name com.foliesapp.mimicparty, at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foliesapp.mimicparty. Any other listing, mirror or download link is not ours, whatever name, icon or screenshots it uses.
Is there an official Mimic Party APK? +
No. We do not distribute APK files, mods, cracked builds or "premium unlocked" versions, and we never have. Google Play is the only channel we publish the Android game on. An APK found on a download site has been repackaged by someone else, and we cannot vouch for what is inside it.
Is Mimic Party on Android free? +
The download is free. Some content is sold as in-app purchases through Google Play billing, and a premium subscription exists. Nobody from the studio will ever ask you to pay outside Google Play to unlock the game.
Can Android players play with PC players? +
Yes. Phone players and Steam players join the same games, and you can link a phone to a PC account by scanning a QR code in the game.
Do I need a microphone? +
Yes. Every round is played with your voice, so the app asks for microphone permission. Headphones are strongly recommended, otherwise the reference sound leaks back into your recording.
How many players can play together? +
One to five players online in the same session, for about ten minutes a game.
I found a fake Mimic Party. What do I do? +
Report the listing to Google from the store page (About this app → Flag as inappropriate), then tell us on our Discord or at folieslandpro@gmail.com so we can file a takedown request.
Who develops Mimic Party? +
Mimic Party is developed and published by FoliesAPP, an independent French game studio, also behind Animic, a multiplayer Battle Royale played with your voice.
One sound. One shot.
Install the real one, hand your phone around, and find out which of your friends can bark convincingly.
